![]() ![]() and the files do not exist anywhere else on your network. With 2 disks of 8TB you get 8TB total space. The normal NAS configuration is mirrored drives. You can split the TM backups over the volumes but IMHO it would be smarter to put all the backups on one and all your other files on the other. if one fails it has no effect on the other. ![]() you can setup two completely independent drives. so you need to copy files to the disk you choose. C and D gives you the capacity you want but each drive is separate. it is a raid though and if you have ONE drive die. It is one option when you select how you want to setup the disks. ? So you mean you intend to use two separate drives.
